Geranium Water "Atrechyia"

Geranium water, also known as Atrechyia, is much less well-known in France but is also a staple ingredient in Tunisian cuisine.

Geranium, prized for its fragrance, was cultivated in North Africa where it could find refuge from the cold and delight the artisans who have distilled it for generations.

Usage tips: Widely used in pastries, it is often used to flavor desserts and creams. It will add a delicate, floral note. It is also used in Turkish coffee or tea.
