Briq, large

This traditional jug is used in Syria and Lebanon where it is called "briq" (بريق) or "ibriq" (إبريق). Several people can hygienically share a drink straight from its precise beak when no other receptacle is at hand, which is why you can still sometimes find it in local restaurants. 

Handblown in Tripoli. Made from recycled glass.
