Fig & Sesame Jam (Terroirs du Liban)

A perfect symbiosis between the fleshy texture of figs and the crunch of sesame, this exceptional jam owes its masterful interplay of textures to a closely guarded traditional Lebanese recipe. Pulpy and intensely fruity, it pairs wonderfully with a cheese platter in a sweet and savory combination… or can be spread simply on bread for a comfortingly delicious treat.

Enhanced by the toasted notes of roasted sesame seeds, the fig's roundness takes on a whole new dimension of flavor.

Made by a small women's cooperative in the western Bekaa Valley.
