Olive Wood Salad Servers

These pleasantly heavy salad servers (about 100 g each) are hand carved in the Bethlehem area from native olive wood. The perfect addition to our beautiful hand-painted salad bowl from Hebron. 

Olive wood — along with olive oil — has been one of the most important Palestinian resources since time immemorial and has also been representing a big share of Palestinian exports. 

For many artisans in Palestine – especially in the Bethlehem area – crafting objects from olive wood has been a main source of income, carving the wood by hand with only basic tools but utmost dedication and skill. 

Olive wood is long-lasting and resistant and resist heat as well as cold.
