These wicker trays are handwoven by women in the village of Al Alam in the Fayoum Oasis of Egypt.
Shababik buys them from Fair Trade Egypt who has been working with the group since 2010 to better the social and economic situation for the women of Al Alam and to make use of agricultural byproducts.
