Zaatar Flowers

The flowering tops of the oregano (*Origanum syriacum*) from Bassatin Baanoub are harvested at the very beginning of summer, bundled, washed, and then dried upside down in the shade. Once dry, the bundles are gently processed by hand to preserve their full aroma.

It is a highly versatile herb that can be enjoyed either raw or cooked, and it beautifully enhances salads, cheeses, and meats.

We recommend rubbing the herb between your hands one last time before serving.
