Description
Copper and brass were broadly used in Ancient Egypt, from building statues to crafting wonderfully detailed pots and jewellery. Today, the number of copper and brass smiths is in decline due to the high price of the material and a lack in demand, but many mostly decorative objects such as lamps are still being produced today. Many brass smiths have also moved on to produce minaret tops and other ornaments for mosques.
One size. Adjustable diameter.
Made in Cairo by brass smith Ishak Fahim Rubel.
