Khayamiyya is the art of decorative, complex, and hand-stitched patterns. My world as a German graphic designer is almost the opposite: focused on reduction, structure, clarity and a design logic that often eliminates ornament in favour of function. Yet one pattern is always present—just barely visible: the RGB pixel grid [Red-Green-Blue, N.B.]. It’s the hidden fabric of our digital reality.
This textile is my attempt to bridge those worlds—by taking the tiniest structure of our digital environment and expanding it into something visible, tactile, and handmade.
